Savings Accelerator
Savings Accelerator is a fantastic way to accelerate your savings. With balances of $50,000 and over, your whole balance earns a very rewarding rate. It's a fantastic way to speed up your savings and reach your goals sooner.
Should your balance fall below $50,000, you’ll still earn a competitive variable rate (or, our Savings Maximiser might be a better fit for your savings).

Variable interest rates as at 13 November 2008. The combined total deposits in all your Savings Accelerator account(s) shouldn’t exceed $5 million, whether account(s) are in individual or joint name(s).
Rates for the Savings Accelerator are aligned with interest rates in the professional money markets and may change more frequently than the ING DIRECT Savings Maximiser.
Interest is calculated daily at the relevant variable rate on the closing balance and credited to your Savings Accelerator at the end of each month – you earn interest on your interest.
There are no ING DIRECT bank fees or charges. And there’s no fixed term or minimum withdrawal. Any interest earned is all yours (subject to any applicable withholding tax and government charges).
A high interest rate doesn’t mean you have to lock your money away for a fixed term. You can deposit or transfer, whenever you like, 24/7 via online or phone.
