If you’re a new customer, open a Savings Maximiser account from 23 June 2008 and receive a special promotional rate of 8.00% p.a. variable interest on the balance of your account until 30 September 2008.

If you’re an existing customer, everything above the balance of your Savings Maximiser as at 11.59pm on 24 April 2008 earned a special promotional rate of 7.90% p.a. interest from 9 May 2008 until 22 June 2008.

On 23 June 2008 this special promotional interest rate increased from 7.90%pa to 8.00%pa variable.

Everything below the balance of your Savings Maximiser as at 11.59pm on 24 April 2008 earns the standard Savings Maximiser variable interest rate applicable at the time.

The special promotional interest rate ends on 30 September 2008. From 1 October 2008 the standard Savings Maximiser rate will apply to all amounts in your account.
