My name is Wesley Naidoo and I’m a Team Leader in the IT Operations area.
ING DIRECT is not your typical bank you work for so it’s a lot of fun and I really enjoy it here. There is that sense of energy, you have that buzz, that feeling it is tangible and you know it’s a great place and it’s a great place to work it really fosters that environment for building a high performance environment and the people really respond to that, it’s fantastic.

At ING DIRECT because you have that, you get that ownership in whatever you do at the end you can look back and say; yeah I have done this piece of work and that follows you in your career and people recognise that and me, personally, I’ve never worked in any other organisation like this in any other IT team. I’ve never had that real team spirit, if you want to call it that and it’s in everything we do there’s no politics on the ground.
Everyone is so passionate about what they do that the conversations that you can have are powerful and so much more knowledgeable and are continuously learning. It’s just a great place to work it’s really hard to put into words and summarise - you would have to try it for yourself, you’d have to come on board.

It’s a great time to join our dynamic IT team, at ING DIRECT, with several challenging and interesting projects currently underway and planned for the future.
Being an online bank, all our external and internal customers rely on the quality and reliability of the applications and systems our IT department supports. Our areas of IT include:
